The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Banff. The really good breakfast spot, Tooloulou, is just across the street. I appreciated the use of a microwave down the hall, handy for warming up snacks. The room itself was clean, with soft towels and bedding, but it felt cramped. My biggest disappointment was the hidden pet fees. I found out the hard way while traveling with my two small dogs. No air conditioning in the room was surprising, especially since it was quite warm .

The staff are lovely and the room was quiet with 2 single beds. It has amazing, incredible setting, so close to the restaurants of the town and a back alley and shops and restaurants. The service is great, includes ample parking.

Everything was simply great. Sincerely, it was a very comfortable stay by one night. The location was great, and we could reach Banff Park Museum by walking. It was also just off eating establishments, bars, and restaurants, and everything, including bus stops for free shuttles, local buses, other tours. Everyone was very, very nice.

The stay was meant to explore the local attractions, and the ease of access to various restaurants was a significant plus. I really appreciated having a designated underground parking space, especially since it can fill up quickly around here. The room was generally clean and decently renovated, and I found the bed to be quite comfortable. The noise level within the building was noticeable, and I could hear conversations from other guests, which was a bit distracting.

Excellent location in the centre of Banff. Clean and quiet. Offsite parking was cheap, secure and very close. Secure key only access elevator to rooms.
Room was exactly as pictured, quite small, but what I expected from an older hotel.

Rooms are cramped!!! No air conditioning and windows don't open, leading to stuffy conditions!!! Old shower setup can leak and cause wet floors!!! Staff communication needs improvement!!!

It was in downtown Banff, close to everything.
A tad too expensive considering it's a budget accomodation.

Very convenient location, great value for money, excellent hotel for a one-night stay in Banff. Free public parking 30 metres from the entrance to the hotel, free wi-fi and coffee machine in the room.
More light in the room in the evening would be appreciated.

Great location but some quirks
The location is unbeatable for exploring Banff, with friendly staff ready to help. I loved having a microwave available on the third floor for snacks after a long day out.
The room was quite warm with no air conditioning was nice. The noise from the street was also noticeable, especially at night when the bar nearby got lively.
